I had a weird weird weird dream last night.  My family was touring in the US for 1 month, why? I have no idea.  Anyway, the American Idol auditions were on and I just went to join.  Then apparently it was ok if you held a another country's citizenship to join.  But anyway, to cut the story short, when it was my turn, Simon immediately said no when I walked in... lol.  After my audition, Randy and Paula said yes.  And then I woke up.  And I fell back to sleep.  Next I was in this god forsaken zombie invested village running for my life.  Anyway, met up with a few zombie resistance people, then we had to fight them off,  then we went to some place which was more populated, got bitten by a zombie, came across this hospital cum shopping centre cum expo, all the doctors ignored us except one who gave us the remedy and got shot by a swat team, then before he died he told us that the zombie eggs came from the heart of the building, so we blasted the building using bombs and then managed to escape.  After the escape, we went to Starbucks at the shopping centre and there was this kitten playing with my shoe, and then I woke up again.   lolz =.='

It's that time of the year again!

The year 2008 is almost over by the time I finish this post.  Exactly 1 year ago, I still remember ending 2007 writing econs essay promo corrections and also beginning the year with that.  On the whole, to wrap it all up, it's been a so-so year, ups and downs as always.  Many firsts, like performing on stage in front of a large audience in SR Musical - it was an unforgettable experience.  As 2008 ends and 2009 begins, I do realise that it's my first step into adulthood.  School's over, and NS is coming.  Sometimes we just don't want to grow old and be young forever.  Sadly that's just not possible, just like somethings.  Past few days I've been telling myself that somethings are just not possible and I have to learn to let go no matter how hard or painful it is.  Grudges, resentment are just some of them.  Main things to do come 2009, to get a Job before enlistment, hope all the best for A level results.  Endure NS. Lose weight, of which NS will help.  Those are the things off my mind right now - and of course others which I'd like to keep to myself.

Happy New Year!

Began watching Iron Chef again recently,  brings back sooo much memories.  I remember that channel 5 used to show it in the afternoons about 5pm, mondays to friday.  I didn't miss a single episode then.  And then channel 5 suddenly stopped showing><  So I was pretty mad back then and started to look for the show on the internet.  Mind you that there wasn't youtube then...

The show kinda made me enjoy the cooking part of home economics lesson alot during sec 1 and 2.  I even fantasied the home economics room being kitchem stadium!  Haha.

The show was like a cooking wrestling match.  They introduced the challenger.  Then they presented the Iron Chefs with them emerging from a rising platform with their pictures behind them.  Then the challenger would choose his opponent, and they do battle after the main secret ingredient is revealed and they're given 60 mins to compete.

With over the top costumes and over the top commentaries and out of this world cooking, the show kept me glued to the tv, I haven't gotten tired of it><
